My New Fender!

Time to learn guitar!  No excuses now.  I was in a music store 2 months ago and looking at guitars and just redid that trip a month ago.  I am now extremely determined to learn at least guitar and hopefully piano before the end of the year.  There is so much to do in so little time, what I do commit to is writing songs daily.  I am always writing, recording, and singing new melodies all the time. 

I like to write the kind of things that I have never ever heard before.  I would love part of my writing to bring back even some 50, 60 and 70's music in a 2010 kind of style.  I write a lot of rock, soft rock and country.  I have been a songwriter for years, but put down the pen for half that time.  Now it is time to get my songs out.  I want to contribute to and be a part of a great cd.  Helping an artist with some number 1's and top tens on their cds. 

I met a great guy named Randy Rickman at the Music Awards in 1994, in Nashville, TN.  Terrific Guy, and musician with a long list of bands on his resume.  I learned on myspace last year that he died.  That broke my heart and took me back to the day I met Randy.  What a great man he was.  We were going to do something musically together, we both let that chance pass us by.  Never again.  This is most important. 

Song Write Tonight

I have been a writer and entertainer all my life in mind, heart & spirit.  After I graduated I began to live my dreams, I went on to become a Top Model traveling abroad.  During that time, I joined a Rock and Roll band as lead singer.  I sang everything from Pat Benetar to Quarterflash.  In that time I started to write songs.  Still wanting to play an instrument.  But that was something I just never learned.  But I will and still can.  I am dedicated to song writing and getting songs to artists and bringing back great music.

There were so many one hit wonders and one artists that only did one good or even great album.  If you can do one great song or one great album you can do two.  Song write tonight is just that, lets song write now, lets co-write, lets put out some hits, lets do an album/CD and put out lots of great songs.  The time is now, the time is here. 

Currently I have a new musician that I manage and song write with.  She played Friday night, a gig, a blast.  She is very versatile and is a solo artist.  She is just coming out, but she can sing.  Putting out good music is key and I plan on putting out great music and making great albums.  I have been known and mostly write a song in under 30 minutes.  I am looking to invent something for us songwriters and musicians that will be of a tremendous help at home, that currently does not exist.
